Every shampoo has a focus. Choose what suits you now.
Choosing shampoo for your scalp
You do not need one shampoo that promises everything. Start with how your scalp feels now, its condition after washing and your hair's needs.
Ask what you need before looking at product claims
Removing oil, caring for dryness, managing dandruff in a washing routine and smoothing hair are different priorities. ESAKI and BALLVIC products have different roles. Your hair therapist will understand your needs first, explain the choices and follow the uses and instructions on current packaging.
Dry or oily? No need to label yourself in a hurry
Scalp condition changes. Climate, oil production, sweat, washing frequency, product residue and recent colouring or perming can all affect how it feels. Weather is only one factor; temperature alone cannot tell you that your scalp is definitely dry or oily.
Washed your hair at night, but your roots are flat by morning?
Check for oily shine or clumping at the roots, thorough rinsing, conditioner applied near the roots, naturally fine hair and flattening during sleep. Flat roots do not necessarily mean excess oil or hair loss.
- Adjust washing frequency to how your scalp feels, rather than continually increasing cleansing strength.
- Focus shampoo on the scalp and use conditioner according to your hair's needs. For fine hair, start with the ends.
- Gently blot water with a towel. Use low to medium heat when blow-drying and keep the dryer moving.
Understand first, then choose. No guesswork needed
